1958 Classic Chevrolet - Interior Color Selections

For 1958, Chevrolet called their interiors "Luxury Lounge Interiors" where customers would get wall to wall luxury, especially in the Impala Sport Coupe.

There were over 40 different new colors for all models, supple vinyl's, textured fabrics and panels in hues of anodized aluminum.

One 1958 sales brochure said "In your '58 Chevy you'll be surrounded by new luxury, new smartness - comparable to the costliest of cars. Vibrant colors in exciting fabrics, ribbed vinyl's always in harmony with whatever exterior tones you choose".

Another brochure said "No compromise with roominess in this Luxury Lounge interior. Bright basket weaves and leather grain vinyl's in shades that harmonize with exteriors".

A Delray interior brochure said "This is low priced fashion that makes you want to go!"

An important interior safety features were front seat arm rests that had built in reflectors to warn on coming cars when the doors are opened on the impala.
